Peter & Maureen have been in the post of Stafford Town Crier & Lady since 1998.
They have travelled around the world visiting Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Singapore, Hong Kong and India promoting Stafford as they go. During the trip to Australia Peter & Maureen were judged the “Best Dressed Town Crier & Escort in the World”. The event was held in Maryborough, Australia. This award was made more welcome by the fact that Maureen makes all the outfits that Peter & Maureen wear. Maureen also obtained the title “Best Dressed Escort in the World”.
