Peter has been the Newport Town Crier for over a year now and is really enjoying the post. Peter & Maureen have travelled around the country promoting Newport in Town Crier competitions and have achieved some good successes: Best dressed Town Crier & Escort in the Loyal Company of Town Criers British Championships in Bridlington, Peter was Champion crier at Market Deeping and also achieved other successes.
